“ So I went here twice a couple weeks ago while on a road trip to Paso Robles for wine tasting. We were staying in an Airbnb that was about 9 min from this restaurant but it is so good, we did not mind waking up early before the rush to get coffee and breakfast before a long day of wine tasting. The first time we went there I got a Vanilla Latte w/ Oat Milk and the Brown Rice bowl which comes in at $15 and is V/GF (Vegan/Gluten Free) and oh so delicious! It's probably my favorite item on the menu and has kimchi pickles, sunny egg (which I got fried), feta cheese and this delicious homemade hot sauce. You can add Pork for $4 but I did not do this option. The second morning we went, I got my usuall Vanilla Latte w/ Oat Milk and decided to switch it up and get the Breakfast Tacos which are alos very good and filling. These are $16 and come with 3 tacos made of beer braised pork (I opted for a non-meat option), red potato, scrambled egg, onion, cabbage, cotija, creme fraiche and house sauce. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and that's always half the battle when going out to eat so it's refreshing for everyone to be positive and smiling when you are going out to eat. Since we came around 9am, there were only a few people and we were able to get a table with a heater outside because it was cold out but it was perfect once the heat was cranked up. Come early to enjoy the great coffee and food but be prepared to wait if you come during rush hour. Can't wait til next time! ”

“ Slammed on a beautiful Sunday morning with a line out the door. Took about ten minutes to get through to order - food came out much quicker than that and it was delicious. Despite being insanely busy service was attentive and friendly. Small crew in the kitchen absolutely crushing it. Great spot ”

“ This place was not as big as I hoped, so it was sort of a wait to get a table, and the parking area is small, I had to park across on the main street. It was crowded when I arrived and I assumed it was because of the small indoor and outdoor seating area. Nope, it was purely because people loved dining here and I totally understand! The food was delicious! I treated myself to the lemon blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon, and a coffee. Don't underestimate the size of the pancakes in the picture lol there were thick and fluffy I almost couldn't finish it! Definitely worth bringing home as leftovers! The bacon was perfect, thick quality bacon, they give you 3 slices. The coffee was delicious and it was free refills of course! The staff were really nice. I was told the pancakes are actually smaller now because customers couldn't finish them lol well I'm not disappointed! ”

“ stopped here for a quick brunch after vacation before making our way back down to San Diego. 5 stars for everything, from the quick efficient way we placed our order with the vibrant hard working bad ass behind the counter to how fast our food came out! Wow just wow! We got the breakfast burrito, corned beef hash, and lemon ricotta pancakes. All amazing! Free coffee refills so we were able to take coffee to go for the second half of our road trip! Thank you to the staff + chefs for making this mornings breakfast quick, easy, stressfree and enjoyable for us roadtrippers! You can tell everyone working there cares about each customers dining experience! Do yourself a favor and check out this spot :) ”

“ Stopped here for brunch before we continued home to the Bay Area. It's a cute local restaurant with street parking and a small parking lot outside. You order at the counter and find a table inside or covered outside. We tried the pastrami Reuben, pozole verde, and breakfast sandwich - everything was delicious! The Reuben was very filling with perfect ratios, the pozole had so many ingredients, and the breakfast sandwich had the best brioche bun. ”

“ We met up with our niece in Templeton, a picturesque little spot north of San Luis Obispo, with a charming town square and cute dining spots. It was late breakfast time, so we wandered over to Kitchenette, a trendy breakfast place. We ate indoors this time, as it was chilly outside. The joint was jumping and lattes and eggs were flying around the place in a timely manner. My husband loves a big breakfast, and he ordered sausage and eggs, with Eggs Hollandaise on the side. My niece enjoyed scrambled eggs, and I got the Ranch Hand Breakfast, which is as close as I ever get to a true breakfast. I do think that eggs are what to order here, as the gently hard boiled egg was the highlight of my salad, and my husband's Hollandaise was most delectable. This is a cute, neighborly, chummy place to come for a classic meal! ”

“ So many great choices! We went for the polenta mushrooms and the sweet potato hash. They were both excellent. The polenta had delicious mushrooms with red onions and spinach. The poached egg was perfect though the runny yolk gets dispersed in the sauciness of the general dish The balance in the sweet potato hash is great: salty meat, vinegar veg, Spicy jalapeño and sweet potato. Wish we lived close enough to try the corned beef hash !! The coffee is fine and service friendly ”

“ Oh my, I think I need to move to Templeton and start looking for a job just so I can eat here on a regular basis. I cannot believe they have mushroom polenta with poached egg.. this is putting all breakfast/brunch places in OC and LA for shame. The menu is slightly limited but every single item on there just makes my heart thump, skip a beat, jump a rope. Polenta is so simple and easy yet why can't they be on more menus instead of the terrible chilaquiles most places can't do right. And that bed of flavorful mushrooms and sauce.. dude, is it still considered impolite to lick a plate in public??! They also got a bomb, messy soyrizo burrito that's been grilled and crisped on the outside. I love that extra step of crunchy texture. Gotta appreciate the attention to flavor and mouth-feel details. Thanks Kitchenette!! I wish I lived in your 'nette walls! ”

“ Wanted some brunch on our road trip and found the BEST cafe. There's 5-6 tables on the inside and plenty of outdoor seating. But during brunch hours it does get quite busy. You order at the cashier and they'll bring out the food. There's self serve ice water inside as well. Shout out to the service. We initially sat outside, the waitress even brought out a table fan because there were bees outside. Too bad I'm deathly afraid of bees and had to move inside to eat. Corned beef hash 10/5 - so good and filling. The hash has such good flavor with the mustard sauce. I loved the addition of arugula and pickled onions. Definitely my favorite. Ranch hand salad 5/5 - ginormous portion well worth the money. They give you SO MUCH chicken it's literally falling off the plate. Good try on the scotch eggs - tasted a little bland. Traditional scotch eggs is normally wrapped in sausage and theirs isn't, only with breading. Good selection of coffees as well. Theres also pastries next to the cashier, we bought one for the road and didn't disappoint. Must try if you're in the area! ”
